Frigidaire Refrigerator Air Filter Replacement
If the red “Replace” indicator next to “Air Filter” has turned on your Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator, then it’s time to replace the filter and I will guide through to do it. First get the air filter (here on Amazon). You can add this page to your browser’s favourites so that you can come back to it once you have the filter. Now, open the pack, remove the seal. On the back you’ll find a little tab (a perforated panel) at the top. Pull it out (see the image).
Before you open the refrigerator, it’s a good idea to write the date in which you’ve replaced the air filter on the side of the package so that you’ll know when the next time should be.

Now open your fridge. On the right door, you’ll find a thin rectangle where it says “Air Filter Ultra” which is actually the cover of the air filter. Open it up, and pull the old filter out from the sides (if intact). Now with the apparent carbon facing down towards the vents, put the filter into the housing and shut the cover back until it snaps (you’ll hear a small click sound). Now head to the control panel, and press the “press and hold reset button” until the display panel changes to “good”. Voila!
